dell xps 15 Reviews: See Why This Premium Laptop Is Worth the Price

dell xps 15 is one of the best laptops on the market. It features an excellent design, excellent battery life, great specs, and it’s relatively affordable in comparison to other laptops like it (although not cheap). To help you decide if this laptop is right for you, here are some dell xps 15 reviews to give you the most important information about the laptop so that you can make an informed decision before you purchase. If you already own this product, feel free to share your review in the comments section below!

The Specs

The dell XPS 15 is an inch thick laptop with a 512 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM, 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H CPU. It comes with Windows 10 Home. Ports include two USB 3.1 ports, one USB-C port, and a Thunderbolt 3 port for accessories. The video card in this PC is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti which has GDDR5 4GB of dedicated video memory.

The Design

With slim bezels and a brushed aluminum exterior, it's clear that Dell went with a cleaner design. The edges on this laptop are almost impossible to tell apart from its metal case. That means no dirt will be collecting along the edges or giving them wear-and-tear that would destroy your touchscreen. And don't worry about any scratches, either—the Dell XPS15 is durable as hell. The tradeoff for such resilience is weight; at 4.5 pounds, it's not quite ultralight but does represent an average in terms of weight for laptops in this price range.

The Display and Colors

The screen is a beautiful 4K touch display, with bright and crisp colors. It's powered by Intel's 8th Gen Core i7 processor, so you're getting power while multitasking. Speaking of which, this laptop can support up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, so feel free to open up all your tabs! (LINK)

Hardware and Performance

Dell's XPS 15 is not just a powerful, premium laptop--it's also one of the nicest-looking and best-built laptops on the market. The exterior design was one of my favorite aspects of this laptop as it features an aluminum finish that is sleek and professional. I was also impressed with how thin it is considering its power--Dell was able to keep weight down without sacrificing performance or battery life. With 4k resolution, beautiful screens and dual graphics processors, this laptop will handle almost anything you throw at it. Plus, Dell includes a numeric keypad which not all other laptops offer!

Connectivity Options

One of my favorite features on this laptop is its connectivity options. The Dell XPS offers a lot in terms of ports and connection features. The laptop has an HDMI port, three USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C Thunderbolt port, Ethernet jack, DisplayPort and audio jack combo. With all these choices you'll never run out of ways to connect to devices or to other people.

It also comes with a wireless adapter (though it's not the best) so you can access wireless networks with ease from anywhere there's a signal available—either free or paid for by your company.

Webcam and Keyboard

The webcam is located at the top of the display and it provides great quality in Skype conversations. The keyboard is one of the best I've used on a laptop and you can adjust how firm it is to fit your preferences. The palm rest has a soft touch that is comfortable for hours of typing.

The display has an aspect ratio of 16x9 with full HD 1080p resolution and there are also dual Thunderbolt 3 ports. Touchpad controls take some getting used to, but once you get it, scrolling feels natural and responsive. The only drawback to this device was when streaming video from Netflix, YouTube or another service on Google Chrome there would be occasional buffering, but this could be attributed to internet connection speeds more than anything else. ~~Pawel

Gaming Performance

When you're looking for a powerful laptop, one of the most important features to consider is the graphics card. With premium gaming laptops like this Dell XPS, you'll be able to play your favorite games at higher quality settings with more fluid gameplay and longer battery life. Though some of these machines may be on the heavier side, Dell's InfinityEdge 4K touchscreen display keeps this laptop only a half inch thick without sacrificing any performance. Plus, when it comes to portability, Dell includes a range of adapters in their product box - from a power supply adapter for easy home use to an RJ-45 adapter which lets you connect directly to Ethernet cables and cords - giving you everything you need for any type of location.

Battery Life

Dell's XPS 15 gives you a range of up to 18 hours, meaning you'll be able to go days before needing to plug in. And on top of this, it has a fast-charging battery that can go from zero to 50% charge in just 45 minutes.
